It fits the standard American Tiles in the tile tray with plenty off room to move around. For Chinese Mahjong I use the 40mm tiles. Thirteen fit, but the 14th does not, but the dealer does not have that 14th tile for long. But I do wish the tray was slightly wider. Love the cup holders. My only issue is that they do not pack the mat separately; they just set it in the tray unattached. My first one came witth the mat creased because it had slid down in the box. I could not get the crease out. And I could not just get a new mat, so I did an exchange on Amazon and am waiting for my 2nd table and mat to arrive. Hope I do not have the same problem. They need to attach the mat to the table for shipping with that gummy stuff.
This domino table is great! The quality is really good. I love how durable it feels. I was excited it to be similar to a card table, but it is more stable than a basic card table. The cup holders are a nice touch but I do with they were a little deeper, but they still do their job. I love the built in trays they are just big enough for holding most game components. The playing mat is also high quality and is double sided. It makes the playing surface smooth and appealing. I am so happy with my purchase and I know that I will be using this table a lot.
