Backgammon Board Game

We have had a similar backgammon game for years and thought this would be a great thing for our child who is starting life on his own. This case/set seems to be of even higher quality than the one that has lasted 20+ years.

Old classics don't get much older than backgammon, which dates back nearly 5,000 years - and it still holds up today! That means any avid lover of games should have a copy at home.This is a nice one that is also designed for travel. It folds up nicely and is lightweight, while still being sturdy enough for play. The components are well made and feel good in your hands, and the polish and finish on the board look great. This is a little more than I'd typically pay for backgammon, but the quality justifies the price.

Just as I remembered from when I regularly played the game almost 50 years ago. The game is the same and so is this box. Nothing really special about this and likewise nothing bad about it. The box is sturdy enough to take the abuse of summer travels and the pieces are the same hard plastic as I remembered them. The outside is covered in a cheap but durable enough vinyl. The enclosed rules are not well written but its easy enough to look up the rules if you need a refresher.

This is a nice backgammon set. I love the case. The whole set has a classic retro look to it. I’ve had a lot of fun playing this.

Loved to play backgammon when I was younger, this is a nice set. Not cheap.
